FILE A REPORT

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is a federal agency that helps protect consumers in the financial marketplace. If you believe you have been treated unfairly by a financial institution, you can submit a complaint directly to the CFPB. The agency forwards complaints to the company for a response and monitors complaint trends to help enforce federal consumer financial laws.

The Texas Attorney General's Office helps protect consumers by investigating complaints involving businesses and potential violations of Texas consumer protection laws. If you believe a business has engaged in unfair, deceptive, or unlawful business practices, you can file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Division for review and possible action.

 FTC Identity Theft Report
If you believe you are a victim of identity theft, you should file an Identity Theft Report with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). An FTC Identity Theft Report helps document your case, provides a personalized recovery plan, and can be used when disputing fraudulent accounts or transactions with creditors, credit bureaus, and other organizations.
